Have you ever had a newly minted manager quote [Stephen] Covey on you? I don't know how many times the powers that be have suggested a tip from 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, as if it is some kind of management gospel. I have news for you folks, there is no mantra thats going to make you a better person. Waste your money on books, lectures, and motivational speakers but at the end of the day, doing what you love is going to get you ahead.
